A DOG which got loose on a busy motorway carriageway of the M5 caused traffic chaos this morning.
Traffic was left at a standstill between on the northbound carriageway between Junction 11a at Brockworth and Junction 12 at Quedgeley.
The roads reopened fully at around 9am after the northbound carriageway was left completely gridlocked.
We are currently dealing with a loose dog in the carriageway along the M5 southbound at Gloucester services. Sorry for any delay

Gloucestershire police said: “A dog was seen running on the hard shoulder near Gloucester Services at around 7.40am on the southbound carriageway.
“It also ran across the carriageway to the other side.
“There was a rolling closure at J11A at 8am. The dog was still on the loose at 8.20am with police and Highways attempting to catch it."
