WITH temperatures at their highest point of the year so far, many people took advantage of the better weather.
Highs have been recorded comfortably above 30C and thousands of people have made the most of it.
About 1,000 schoolchildren visited Cattle Country near Berkeley today as schools take time out before the end of term.
General manager Stuart Burnell said: "It's 30 degrees and we have hundreds of very happy children enjoying the splash pool and the water play area is open for the little ones.
"We hope the sunshine continues right through the school holidays."
