Firefighters called to tackle kitchen fire at pub in Milbury Heath
FIREIGHTERS tackled a kitchen fire yesterday evening in a pub in Milbury Heath, near Thornbury.
Three crews from Yate, Temple and Nailsea RDS attended the fire at the White Horse at Buckover after the callout was made at 6.38pm.
Using breathing apparatus, the firefighters used two high pressure reels to tackle the fire, which is believed to have started accidentally.
A ventilation fan was also used to clear the property of smoke.
One 48-year-old female was treated on the scene for smoke inhalation by ambulance personnel.
