POLICE are appealing for the public’s help in finding a man wanted in connection with an assault in Thornbury.
Matthew Clarke, 25, is wanted in connection with the incident which took place on Eastlands Road on October 14, as well as a domestic-related public order incident which also happened in Thornbury.
He is described as around 6ft tall with short brown hair and blue eyes.
Officers say that Mr Clarke has no permanent address and they believe he may be staying in the Thornbury area – possibly in sheds, garages and outbuildings.
They also believe he may be going into large supermarkets in the area to wash and refresh himself.
Police have asked that while Mr Clarke is not believed to be a danger to the public, he should not be approached at all costs, and anyone who sees him is asked to call 999, quoting reference 5216228945.
