Woman taken to hospital after firefighters free her from crash on motoway in Almondsbury
FIREFIGHTERS raced to the Almondsbury Interchange last night to assist a young woman who had been involved in a road traffic collision.
Three crews, one from Patchway, one from Avonmouth and one from Southmead dispatched at 10.09pm to the scene on the M4/M5 crossover, where the woman, in her 20’s, was still inside the vehicle.
After she was freed from the vehicle, the woman was treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital.
