TWO men were arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and possession of a controlled drug in Thornbury last Friday.
Police were called to a disturbance outside The Swan pub on the High Street at around 7pm, after some people had been ejected and a window in the pub had been broken.
The pub's landlady Sandra Davies told the Gazette that two men had been told to leave prior to the incident.
Thornbury beat manager PC Sean White said: "We don't tolerate any behaviour of this sort in Thornbury.
"Anyone who causes trouble like this could face criminal charges, as well as a 12-month ban from all the pubs in the town."
Keiran Nash, 23, of Watchelm Close in Bradley Stoke, has since been charged with criminal damage, assaulting a police officer and possession of a controlled drug, and will appear at Bristol Magistrate Court on June 5.
Another 35-year-old man was released with a police caution.
