RESIDENTS are being called on by Almondsbury Parish Council for suggestions on how to spend more than £11,000 of funds received through housing developments.
The £11,860 from South Gloucestershire Council’s Community Infrastructure Levy applied to developers must be spent on local infrastructure within Almondsbury Parish and residents are being given an opportunity to decide how it should be spent.
Suggestions put forward so far include signposting places of interest, improving footpaths and cycle paths and installing cycle racks at village halls.
The list of proposed ideas will be discussed at the council’s next full meeting on Tuesday, October 3.
To put forward an idea, either post it to the clerk at Almondsbury Parish Council, 24A Gloucester Road, Almondsbury, Bristol BS32 4HA, or email info@almondsburyparishcouncil,gov,uk.
