THE CASTLE School is set to reopen its doors today following yesterday's closure to remove graffiti across the site.
The Thornbury school, which is part of the Castle School Education Trust (CSET), was attacked by vandals over the weekend, with more than 100 crude and insulting items of graffiti sprayed on walls and windows across the site.
Contractors were called in yesterday to clean up the damage, with CSET tweeting to say the school would reopen today.
Thanks to amazing efforts of staff and contractors today, @TheCastle_Sch will reopen tomorrow despite extensive vandalism over the weekend. https://t.co/9WXTTLWx5b
