TWO children have been taken to hospital following a serious crash between a bus and two cars this morning in Thornbury.
The collision, which took place around 8.45am, with emergency services being dispatched to assist in the recovery.
Due to the size of the incident, which took place on the junction of Morton Way and Knapp Road, the road was blocked off by police as fire and ambulance crews made sure the scene was safe and attended to the injured.
In total five casualties were assessed by ambulance crews, most for minor injuries, but a boy and girl were also taken to hospital, having sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Firefighters and police remained on the scene until it was reopened at around 9.30am.
