TWO prisoners who absconded from Leyhill Prison have been arrested.
Daniel Hawkins, 36, and Robert Horan, 29, were reported missing from the open prison on April 10, having last been seen at around 4.50pm.
Following their disappearance, police launched an appeal to find the pair, who were serving indeterminate sentences for offences of attempted rape and theft, and for sexual assault, robbery and burglary, respectively.
Having confirmed they have been apprehended, police are thanking everyone who helped share the appeal.
