THORNBURY’S Cossham Hall will host a foot-tapping concert, pairing internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Kate Dimbleby and harmonica virtuoso Keith Warmington on harmonica, guitar and vocals.
“Smile til it Hurts” is a remarkably fresh show from two experienced entertainers. Songs to make you laugh, cry and sing along, bringing together a touch of Americana with a British sense of humour, this show will have you humming out the door!
The self-penned songs by both artists are a revelation. Kate's use of the loop pedal are as unusual as her songs. Keith Warmington is a master on the harmonica with a laid back attitude that advertises his years of experience as he strums the guitar and sings us to a place we know, familiar at first hearing.
The concert, taking place on Saturday at the earlier start time of 7.15pm, is part of a series to raise funds for the Armstrong Hall Redevelopment Project.
Tickets, including interval nibbles, are £10 from Thornbury Town Hall or by calling 01454 412272.
