A 47-YEAR-OLD man from Rudgeway has been found guilty of driving while almost twice over the legal limit.
Dr Iain Ainsworth, of Gloucester Road, appeared before Bristol Magistrates’ Court on Monday, June 11, charged with drink driving in Alveston on August 5 last year.
Ainsworth had previously denied the charge, despite being breathalysed and having 61mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the 35mcg limit.
He was disqualified from driving, fined £700, and ordered to pay costs of £400 and a surcharge of £70.
