A MAN from Hawkesbury Upton, convicted for physically and sexually assaulting a young girl, has been jailed for 10 years.
John Keay, of Highfields, Hawkesbury, admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm by punching the 13-year-old girl in the face and choking her.
A jury at Bristol Crown Court also convicted the 32-year-old of two sexual assaults.
Although Keay continued to insist he did not sexually assault the girl, Judge Graham Hume Jones said the evidence had been ‘absolutely clear’.
