A DANCE school in Yate tripled its medal haul from last year at a national festival.
The Rhythm, Energy, Dance, Drama and Singing (REDDS) School, based at Ridgewood Community Centre, did well at the 2013 Dance Camp UK but came away with even more honours this time, with a collection of first, second and third place successes.
Principal Erin Cacacie said: "Our two teams won their sections and two vocalists won their classes.
"This is a massive achievement again for our little school from Yate.
"We were up against some tough competition - tougher than last year. But technically our students were the best trained dancers in the festival section and did equally well with our singers' results."
Dance schools from around the UK and Ireland took part in the festival.
