THE closing date for comments on pharmacy services in South Gloucestershire has been extended.

South Gloucestershire Council is carrying out the consultation on behalf of the Health and Wellbeing Board and wants to hear from anyone who uses pharmaceutical services in the area.

The survey, to be completed online, covers chemist shops, pharmacies in supermarkets, GP practices that dispense medicines for their patients and online pharmacies.

As local pharmacies also provide healthcare help and advice and are often the first point of contact when people have a concern about their health, the board wants to ensure that users are happy with the service provided.

The consultation closes on Friday, November 21, and anyone who wants to be involved should visit www.southglos.gov.uk/consultation, email consultation@southglos.gov.uk or phone 01454 868154.
