AN AIR ambulance was called to Yate this morning to deliver critical care to a woman.
Great Western Air Ambulance Charity were called to Yate at 10am to the female who was unwell at home.
Critical care was delivered at the scene and the patient was taken to Southmead hospital, in Westbury-on-Trym, by road ambulance.
The air ambulance charity formed in 2008 to provide the service for the counties of Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire, North Somerset and parts of Wiltshire.
