A TOMARTON based housebuilder constructing homes in Rangeworthy has supplied the village’s football club with new kit for winter training sessions.

Cotswold Homes Ltd, linked with Chipping Sodbury estate agent Milburys, which is building a development at Waverley Grange in New Road, has supported the football team by supplying nine new insulated subs suits for all the players in the club’s three teams.

The housebuilder, which is building a new exclusively private development of four four-bedroom, two-bathroom detached family homes, gave the club the new clothing on Saturday, January 31.

Terri Hayes-Pugh, who heads Cotswold Homes’ sales and marketing team, said: “We are always keen to put something back into the communities in which we are working.

“When we heard that the club needed some assistance we were keen to provide it.”

Rangeworthy Football Club’s chairman, David Buckley, said: ‘We are very grateful for Cotswold Homes’ sponsorship of Rangeworthy Football Club. The subs suits will be appreciated by all the players.

“It is becoming extremely costly to run local sports teams these days and without the support from companies like Cotswold Home, small village clubs like ours simply would not exist.

“On behalf of all those involved with Rangeworthy Football Club I would like to offer Cotswold Homes our thanks and appreciation.”
