A CHIPPING Sodbury business has celebrated its sixth birthday and successes over the past year.

Red Door Coaching and Training Ltd celebrated its sixth year of offering leadership, coaching, customer service training and outplacement solutions in January.

The business, on Horse Shoe Lane, was founded in 2009 by former M&S managers Linda Banister, 55, from Chipping Sodbury, and Tracy Francksen, 52, from Charfield.

Mrs Banister said: “What a year it has been for the business. Working with public and private organisations near and far, small and large has meant no two days have been the same for the Chipping Sodbury-based business.”

Thanks to its successes, 2014 brought in several new additions to the Red Door team, as well as a new office, complete with red door, and a new website, which is currently under construction.

The women’s new project is to develop a new job sharing workshop, to be promoted in the coming months.

Mrs Banister, who is also joint chairman of the Sodbury and Yate Business Association with Mrs Francksen, added: “The workshops will target an increase in this collaborative way of working in organisations and will include working together, promoting your job share, the job share as a manager, best practices for being a great job share, values and motivation exercises, how I like to work activity, and job share film. Exciting times.”
