THE police are appealing for information following the second round of vandalism to a wooden footbridge in Winterbourne within a week.
The wooden bridge, in the Newleaze community woodland off the Bristol Road, over a pond, was first damaged overnight on Saturday, March 16 and again on March 23.
The vandalist smashed rails and spindles that had only been repaired a few days before.
Neighbourhood officers have carried out house to house enquiries and would like to hear from any local residents who may have seen anyone or anything suspicious.
They should call 101 quoting reference number 26759/15.
