A MAN and a woman have been arrested in a drugs operation in Henbury.

The hard work of community officers culminated in a day of action which saw drugs and cash seized.

Officers recovered £1,500 worth of Class A drugs and a large quantity of cash.

Kelly Roberts, 32, and Jahran Bailey, 37, both of Henbury have been charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

Roberts was released on bail while Bailey remanded in custody pending their next hearing.
