RESIDENTS are being encouraged to attend Yate Town Council's annual meeting next week.


The meeting will take place on Tuesday, April 28 at Poole Court, on Poole Court Drive and is open to all residents to attend.


Mayor of Yate, councillor Wully Perks, said: "It’s a chance to talk to your local councillors about the work of the town council.


"It is also an opportunity to put forward your ideas for the future of Yate and as well raising any matters which may be of interest to the community."


"All are welcome to attend and we look forward to the opportunity of talking to Yate residents at Poole Court."
