THE police are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Avonmouth which resulted in a woman and two children being taken to hospital, with one child in a serious condition.
The collision happened on Kings Weston Lane at around 9.15am this morning and involved a Toyota Yaris car and a Mercedes minibus.
A women and two children were taken to hospital in Bristol. The woman and one of the children have been discharged and one child remains in hospital in a serious condition.
A 46-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.
Kings Weston Lane was closed for approximately three hours while we carried out enquiries at the scene.
