Deer hit by car in Yate
THE police were called after a deer was hit by a car in Yate.
At 3.30pm on Friday, June 26 the police were called to Wickwar Road where a car had collided with a deer.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said: “We were called at 3.30pm by someone who had seen the incident.
“Vets attended the scene who soon took away the deer, of which its condition is not known.”
