A FIRE crew was called to assist the RSPCA in the removal of a pigeon from a roof in Yate yesterday (July 26).
The service was called at about 6pm to help the animal welfare charity at a house in Rectory Close.
Firemen used ladders to get to the pigeon which was handed over for care to the RSPCA afterwards.
