FIREFIGHTERS were called to three car fires in the Southmead area of Bristol last night.
The first incident was at 4.23am when a fire engine from Southmead Fire Station was called to Coleford Road to a Suzuki Swift car on fire.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two high pressure hose reels to extinguish the fire, which is thought to have started deliberately.
At 04.34am a fire engine from Patchway Fire Station attended another vehicle fire in Felstead Road, Southmead.
Firefighters used a high pressure hose reel to extinguish a Ford Fiesta on fire.
The cause is thought to also be deliberate.
The final incident was at 04.57 when a fire engine from Southmead Fire Station returned to Coleford Road where a Ford Fiesta was found to be on fire.
The crew extinguished the blaze which again, is thought to have started deliberately.
