POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 16-year-old girl was sexually assaulted as she left the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta.
The victim was touched inappropriately by a man at around 10.30pm on Saturday 8 August as she was leaving the event, held in the grounds of Ashton Court Estate.
A police spokesman said: "We’re releasing a description of the offender and are asking the public to come forward if they recognise who it may be.
"He’s described as white, between 25 and 30 years old, of average build with short black hair and a stubbly beard. He had a silver stud in his left nostril and a scar on the knuckles of his left hand. He also spoke with a foreign accent, possibly French."
