POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision on the M5.
The single-vehicle collision took place shortly before 9.20pm last night (Sunday, October 11) on the northbound carriageway close to junction 25.
Police said it is believed that the vehicle, a van, suffered a puncture causing it to roll over.
As a result, one of three male occupants in the van died from his injuries sustained.
The two other men suffered serious injuries and remain in hospital.
As a result of the collision, the motorway closed for more than seven hours.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to call police immediately on 101 and quote crime reference number 0930 of 11/10.
