Poll: Should over-75s still get a free TV licence?
THE BBC is considering plans to ask people over 75 to give up their free TV licence or make a voluntary contribution to it.
In a funding deal made with ministers the BBC agreed to take over the £650 million cost of the free licences from 2018-19.
