EIGHTY per cent of traffic lights in the UK should be removed, according to a new report.
The Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) says the government should remove most of the country's traffic lights to improve the economy.
The group says the “huge proliferation in traffic regulations over the past 20 years has imposed a heavy burden” on the country.
IEA says a two minute delay to every car journey could lose the UK £16billion a year - or one per cent of gross domestic product.
Are there traffic lights in Dursley, Cam, Wotton, Thornbury, Yate or Chipping Sodbury that should be removed? Have your say below.
