Convicted distraction burglar John McCann is believed to be in Winterbourne
A CONVICTED distraction burglar and rogue trader wanted by Thames Valley Police is believed to be in Winterbourne.
Police are appealing for help to trace John McCann, was released from HMP Guys Marsh on January 15 and is now wanted by Thames Valley Police to be recalled to prison for breaching his licence conditions.
Police believe McCann, 44, is in Winterbourne or the wider South Gloucestershire area.
A police spokesman said: “He has strong links to the Avon and Somerset area but is not living at a known fixed address.
“Anyone who recognises him or knows of his whereabouts is asked to call us on 101, quoting reference number 5216013036.”
