PLANNED and ongoing road improvement schemes in the Gloucestershire and Bristol areas for the coming week (February 1 - February 7).

Bristol:

  • M32 Junction 1 – 2: Metro Bus Scheme (Bristol City Council works) - There are narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions in operation northbound and southbound until the end of September 2016.
  • M32 Junction 2: The northbound exit slip will be closed from 8pm on February 2 until 6am the following morning.  Diversion will be signposted.
  • M5 Junction 18 – 17 (Hallen Hill): Drainage and carriageway repairs - Various 24/7 lane closures will be in place on the northbound carriageway until mid-March. 
  • M5 Junction 20 – 19 (Tickenham Hill): Drainage and carriageway repairs - Full overnight northbound closures will be in operation from 9pm (Monday to Friday only) until 6am on February 10.  Diversion will be signposted.  Narrow lanes with 50 mph restrictions on the northbound will be in operation during the day.   
  • M4 Junction 21 – 20: Communications - A full eastbound carriageway closure will take place from 9pm on February 1 until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

Gloucestershire:

  • M5 Junction 13 - 15: Drainage works - Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound and northbound carriageway until March.
  • M5 Junction 13: Drainage Works - The southbound entry slip will be closed from 9pm on January 31 until 6am the following morning.  The diversion will be clearly signposted.
  • M5 Junction 14 - 13: Bridge Maintenance - A full northbound carriageway will take place from 8pm on February 1 until 6am the following morning.  The diversion will be clearly signposted.
  • M5 Junction 14 - 12: Bridge Maintenance - Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound and northbound carriageway until October.
  • A40 Huntley: Traffic signal renewals - 24 hour multiway lights will be in operation from until 6pm on February 13.
