THREE fire crews were called to Tormarton on Tuesday afternoon after two cars collided.
A man was thought to be trapped in one of the vehicles after the accident on 3pm.
But when firefighters arrive on the scene, at the junction of Church Road and Acton Turville Road, the man was able to get out of his vehicle.
A spokesman for Avon Fire and Rescue Service said; “Two crews from Kingswood and one from Bath attended the scene, alongside the ambulance service.
“One male was still in his vehicle when firefighters arrived. Following a general assessment with paramedics, the gentleman was able to self-rescue before being taken to hospital as a precaution.”
