THE MALL in Cribbs Causeway is celebrating the appointment of its new centre director.
Deborah Jones joins the team as the site looks to expand with plans submitted by the joint owners intu, M&G Real Estate and JT Baylis, for the development of a new quarter to the shopping centre
With extensive experience in retail operations, Ms Jones has overseen the redevelopment of Cabot Circus in Bristol and St David’s in Cardiff as regional retail operations director at Land Securities, and prior to that served as centre manager for Princesshay Shopping Centre in Exeter.
Ms Jones said: “The Mall at Cribbs Causeway is a vibrant shopping centre that serves a huge catchment of loyal shoppers from across the region. I am excited to be taking the role of Centre Director at this stage in the centre’s evolution.”
John Prestwich, head of UK shopping centre management at CBRE said on behalf of the joint owners: “The exciting plans here at The Mall, affirming its position as a leading regional retail and leisure destination for the South West, present a great fit for Deborah’s extensive experience here in the South West as well as nationwide and overseas. We warmly welcome her to the team.”
