MORE than 30 members of the Sodbury and Yate Business Association gathered for the group’s business breakfast at the end of September.

The annual event brought to a close a busy month for the association which also held a members’ visit to the thriving Yate Supplies that month.

The business breakfast was held courtesy of Yate Outdoor Sports Complex where group members met to network and hear from Chris Smith, the managing director of Marshfield Bakery who talked about how the family business had been transformed into a highly successful, nationally-recognised company.

The breakfast was sponsored by Jason Rogers of Pinnacle Chauffeur Transport - Bristol, and the association welcomed six new members on the day.

Membership of the group is now over 60 individuals, all from businesses across the Yate and Sodbury area.

Its next business outing will be layer this month to GR Autos in Yate. The event is open only to members but non-members are welcome to attend one of the monthly meetings held by the association.
