TOWNS and villages across the country paid their respects to on Remembrance Sunday.
Thousands of people gathered at memorials to remember those who have served during war.
Cadets and scout groups were amongst a host of organisations to take part in services and parades throughout Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire.
In Chipping Sodbury, hundreds of people took part in the town’s remembrance parade on Sunday afternoon which finished at the war memorial.
Thornbury and Dursley also hosted parades in the afternoon whilst Yate’s procession took place in the morning.
Wotton-under-Edge held its parade, following a service at St Mary’s Church, culminating in two minutes of silence at the town’s war memorial.
