SHOPPERS visiting Chipping Sodbury this weekend will have the chance to show their love for the town with specially made bags.
The shopping bags, which are emblazoned with “I love Chipping Sodbury”, are being given away by Sodbury Chamber of Commerce at a stall in the town’s high street during the annual Victorian day with every copy of the Chipping Sodbury “Then and Now revisited” 2017 Calendar.
The jute shopping bags and long handled cotton bags, worth £5 and £3 each, will be available from the stall on a first come, first serve basis.
Joanne Cox, the chairman of Sodbury Chamber of Commerce said "We are pleased to be able to support both Small Business Saturday and Victorian Day.
“The Calendars and 'I love Chipping Sodbury' bags will make great stocking fillers this Christmas. We are pleased to be able to provide these bags for free this Small Business Saturday with the support of South Gloucestershire Council."
The calendars are also on sale at the Tourist Information Centre, the Post Office in Cotswold Vintners, Cadeaux & Co and Soo Chic II.
