NHS officials in South Gloucestershire have reduced the escalation level for services following an improved weekend, but say that they are still under significant pressure.
With the operation pressures escalation level (OPEL) being reduced to level three, South Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) are asking members of the public to help manage demand and restore capacity by using the most appropriate NHS services for their needs.
They are also asked to only use accident and emergency services and call 999 for serious and life-threatening emergencies only.
Information about services are available from NHS 111 or by visiting www.southgloucestershireccg.nhs.uk.
