A JOBS fair organised by Thornbury and Yate MP Luke Hall will take place this Friday.
The free event, which will take place at the Cossham Hall in Thornbury, will feature many of the area’s big employers – including Europa Group, Thornbury Leisure Centre, Severnside Transport, SGS College, Tortworth Court and Falfield Job Centre.
This is the fifth job fair that has been organised by the MP, but the first in Thornbury, with past events having helped many people find a new career – and this time around it is believed that hundreds of jobs on offer.
Mr Hall said: “I’m delighted to be able to organise my fifth Local Job fair in our area but for the first time in Thornbury.
“There will be a wide range of job opportunities on offer for those who may be looking for their first job, want a change in career or are just looking to get back into the work place.
“Unemployment in our area has reduced steadily since 2010 and I hope this fair will help keep to build upon that even further”
The job fair will run from 1pm to 2.30pm.
