A SHOP in Chipping Sodbury has changed hands and undergone a significant revamp.

Clothing store Soo Chic II has officially been relaunched under new management, after the owner decided to sell the business to her friends.

At a launch event on Saturday, April 15, new owners Gary Bartlett and Jo Hewer unveiled the new Not Too Shabby Boutique, which offers ladies clothing, shoes and handbags.

Gary said: “After a spontaneous chat with the previous owner Jaz we decided to take a gamble and go for it.

“Jo wanted a new challenge and with a little help we are happy to have opened the store, and are pleased with the positive response so far.”

The business was previously owned by Jazz Hendy, who still owns a neighbouring interior design store called Shabby Chic Interiors.

Commenting on her decision to sell the clothing business, she said: “It was a tough decision to make but I wanted to concentrate on my love for interiors.

“Gary and Jo will bring a whole new dimension to the clothing range in Not Too Shabby and I wish them every success with their new venture.”
