Yate fire crew attends to car far in Tormarton
A FIRE crew from Yate was dispatched to Tormarton yesterday afternoon after a car caught alight.
The fire broke out on Tolldown Road with firefighters being called out at 5.08pm, using breathing apparatus and a high pressure hose reel to put the fire out.
It is believed that the fire started accidentally, and the crew waited with the car’s owner until the arrival of the AA.
