A FAST food restaurant in South Gloucestershire has been forced to close after firefighters tackled a blaze in its kitchen this morning.
A crew from Kingswood and a crew from Southmead were dispatched to the Willow Brook Centre in Bradley Stoke following a call at 11.06am.
On arrival, crews discovered a fire in the KFC restaurant, which they believe was accidentally started by a fat burner at the back of the kitchen.
Firefighters used a high pressure hose reel and a CO2 extinguisher to put the fire out.
The Willow Brook Centre has since tweeted to say that the restaurant would be closed for “a short period of time” and that they would update when it is to reopen.
