THE man behind the Blue Heart campaign in Chipping Sodbury has been filmed shouting abuse at several members of the public during a bizarre road rage row.
Fergus Beeley, a former BBC documentary producer, told a man to "get ready to die" during an incident just off the M27 motorway near Southampton.
Footage circulated on social media over the weekend shows Mr Beeley screaming and violently gesturing at a family while attempting to make a "citizen's arrest".
He can be seen grappling with a man while shouting "put your hands on the car and get ready to die."
He then tells the group that he is conducting "a citizen's arrest" for "assault, for battery and for dangerous driving".
The shocking footage has since gone viral on social media, with many people commenting that it appears like something out of a film.
Twitter user Simon Russell compared Mr Beeley to Spanish fencing master Inigo Montoya, a character in the 1980's classic A Princess Bride who frequently challenges people to duels.

Meanwhile, Twitter user Gordon Linton commented that Mr Beeley a living example of "Basil Fawlty" - the explosive main character from the British sitcom, Fawlty Towers.
BBC director Fergus Beeley proves that Basil Fawlty is in fact alive, well and living amongst us @JohnCleese https://t.co/cV1upjQjOT
