THE SOUTH Gloucestershire Show will be returning to Westerleigh next weekend for a fourth year running.

With over 27,000 visitors through the gates in 2016, organisers are hoping that this year’s event will be even better.

Attractions include a charity pig race, a dog display, and a demonstration from motorcycle stunt man, Steve Colley.

There will also be the usual country fair, in addition to a sheep show, “banana brain” fun show and BMX stunt team.

“What a great year the 2017 South Glos Show is shaping up to be, with new and exciting entertainment making it the biggest Show to date,” said Darren Hawkins, South Gloucestershire show event organiser.

“Whether it’s motorbike stunts, the long list of animals, talented musicians, classic cars, BMXing, crafts, food or all of them, there’s something here for the whole family.”

The event, which helps to raise money for Gloucestershire-based charity Meningitis Now, takes place at the South Gloucestershire showground on Saturday, August 5 and Sunday, August 6, with doors opening at 10.30am.
