THE South West's new business festival is to play host to a renewable energy conference on October 5.

The South Gloucestershire Business Show is a brand-new event for the area held at Bristol and Bath Science Park on October 4 and 5. The summit will form part of the VentureFest Bristol and Bath conference taking place at the show on October 5.

South Gloucestershire Business Show along with VentureFest Bristol and Bath and Invest Bristol and Bath aim to bring together all the key energy leaders in the South West to set the sustainable agenda for the region going forward.

Visitors to the VentureFest Bristol and Bath event can expect to discover how artificial intelligence, driverless vehicles and robotics are set to change the world around us and how they will start to shape the business community.

There will be a chaired discussion between panel members comprising key decision makers and thought leaders from top Gloucestershire businesses and other stakeholders working in the energy field.

This will be followed by an audience Q&A session where the debate will be opened to the floor. The event will act to inspire business response to these challenges and opportunities and drive positive action for change.
This panel discussion will be chaired by Dr John Henry Looney from Sustainable Direction.

Delegates to the show can also enjoy TEDX talks and a Smart City Guide to Business.

VentureFest Bristol and Bath is free to enter and delegates can register here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/venturefest-bristol-bath-sgbs17-tickets-37387378656
