CHIPPING Sodbury is the star of the show in a new 2018 calendar.

Produced by Sodbury Chamber of Commerce, the publication celebrates the town in all its colourful glory.

For each month, a different aspect of the town is shown.

There’s a moody deep-purple sunset, punctuated by street and car lights.

A bright orange sunrise bursts through silhouetted chimney tops and strings of bunting.

The chilled December hustle and bustle of the Victorian evening contrasts against the solemnity of Remembrance Day silence.

And joyous occasions, such as the ever-popular Big Lunch, the Sodbury Sportif, and the fun of the Mop Fair, all jostle for attention within the calendar’s glossy pages.

Photographer Rich McDonough, aka RichMcD, captured all the stunning images, and the the final product was created by RichMcD, Angie Lane, of Boundary Magazine, and Andrew Webb, with help from Jo Cox and Michelle Baden-Daintree.

The calendar is available for £6.50, or two for £12, at various outlets around the town, including at the Tourist Information Centre, and at Cotswold Vintners.

Copies will also be for sale in the Town Hall on Victorian Day. The calendar comes with four free postcards featuring the hares from this summer’s Hare Trail. All profits go to Sodbury Chamber of Commerce.
