THE search is on for a new chairman for Chipping Sodbury Chamber of Commerce.
Joanne Cox has been volunteering in the post for the last two years.
"It is now time to pass on the baton to a new chairman at the AGM in January 2018," she said.
Chipping Sodbury Chamber of Commerce has over 55 member businesses and works to promote the town's businesses. The Chamber started in 2009.
The chamber, which started in 2009, represent 57 businesses, the vast majority of which are small independent traders.
It organises events, and is well known for organising the popular Chipping Sodbury summer searches. This year the Chipping Sodbury Hare Trail tied in with the Cotswold Hare Trail for the first time. The chamber also supports other organisations
Anyone interested in becoming the next chairman should express their interest by emailing admin@sodburychamber.co.uk.
This important role is a voluntary position.
