LUKE Hall MP’s seventh, and final tour of parliament for 2017, took place on Monday, December 4.

Villagers from Frampton Cotterell travelled up to London and were then taken on an exclusive tour of Westminster Palace.

Residents enjoyed an in-depth tour of Westminster, including the House of Commons, House of Lords, Westminster Hall, and the Queen’s Robing Room.

After a brief stop for some food and a look around the Parliamentary Gift Shop, residents attended a Q&A session with Mr Hall, followed by pictures on Westminster’s famous riverside terrace.

Luke said: “It was a pleasure to welcome residents of Frampton Cotterell to Westminster.

"As ever, I was very grateful to have the chance to answer some really important questions and share my experience of being our local MP.

“These tours are growing in popularity all the time, and I am looking forward to organising many more tours for 2018.”

It has been confirmed that further village tours will be taking place next year, starting with Iron Acton on January 8.

Mr Hall said the tours are a way of ensuring that local communities are able to visit the 'heart of our democracy' whilst also allowing a unique insight into the MP’s day-to-day work.
