SKIES will be cloudy today with fog begins to shroud hills areas of the region.
Patchy drizzle is possible where the cloud thickens but many places will stay dry through the morning.
Wet and windy weather will move in later in the afternoon, turning heavy at times, with temperatures only just creeping into double figures, reaching highs of 10°C.
Through the evening, rain will begin to clear and clear skies will develop, but scattered showers might still be on the cards as winds ease off as it gets colder, falling to as low as 2°C.
