CHIPPING Sodbury has a new princess for its 2018 festival.
Milly Sady was picked to represent the town during the festival this June. The 12-year-old pupil at Chipping Sodbury School was chosen during a selection process in the town hall earlier this month.
Her attendants will be Charlotte Hayward, 11 who attends Raysfield Junior School and Daisy Jones, 9, a pupil at St Johns’ Mead Primary School.
Sodbury Festival chairperson Kate Cox said: "Once again the judges had a hard time selecting the successful applicants as the field was of such a high standard.
"My congratulations to the girls and our thanks to everyone who applied."
The festival will run from June 8 to 17.
"There will be entertainment to suit many tastes," said Ms Cox.
"Look out for our programmes and posters in the town."
