NATIONAL housebuilder Bellway has opened new offices in Almondsbury and is currently scouting for new staff members.

Bellway’s South West division recently moved to a new regional head office at Aztec West business park in Almondsbury to accommodate its expansion, and staff are also preparing to start work on six new developments across the region, depending on planning approval.

The company is now recruiting new site managers to oversee construction at these new developments, with opportunities also available for contractors and supply chain businesses.

Tim Lund, sales director for Bellway South West, said the division’s growth reflected the strength of the regional economy and housing market.

He said: “We are delighted to be supporting the jobs market with expansion in the South West, where our business continues to enjoy success.

“These new developments are creating new opportunities both for local workers and contractors and demonstrate the dynamism of the housebuilding industry at the moment.

“We are particularly looking for dedicated site managers – or experienced assistant site managers looking to take that next step in their career – to help oversee construction at these new sites.”

Bellway’s South West division was launched in 2015 and has gone from strength to strength since then.

Additional staff at Bellway South West’s new regional headquarters will be providing the support needed for these new and existing developments.

Those interested in pursuing a career as a site manager with Bellway are invited to send a full CV to construction managers steve.brown@bellway.co.uk or kai.lacey@bellway.co.uk.
